White Noise Symphony

The wind howling through the trees
As the highway roars with ease
The rooster crows
And the hens purr hello
As the ducks quack their disgruntlement as they please

The children laughs and scream and play
As the broken barn door bangs and clatters
the sizzling fire logs crack
And smoke swirls in the air
As you see what truly matters

Birds of all kinds sing and tweet
As the woodpecker lays the beat
The coffee drips
Or the water boils
A steaming beverage is all you need

To sip and slurp and sigh
As you step out and enjoy
The white noise symphony

about the writer: becca bilbo-doris

Becca Bilbo-Dorris fell in love with crafting stories, telling yarns, and creating beauty before she could even write. She lives in middle Tennessee with her husband and their three boys. They recently left suburbia and bought the family farm complete with ducks, chickens, and enough room for her plant babies. She is surrounded by a beautiful, natural and inspiring landscape which only fuels Becca’s desires to write, paint, and eventually acquire alpacas.
