fuego

They never asked me to remember.

They never ask me to forget.

But I praise the fire, which gave me light.

Same fire which burned me like crazy when you kissed me.

And made me dance in circles.

Like a lonely lake.

They never talked about the flames.

Which destroyed me.

Because you no longer loved me.

And I do not ask to remember

The day.

I looked into your heart.

And shivered.

Because you have called me witch,

I am back, like a Butterfly.

Consumed in my own power.

Because you called me a witch.

Today you made me Alchemist.

I am the Fire.
