Stranger Sides

Some show sides
too tender for most to
reclaim
aspects so opposed early on
no one remembers
giving them up so
easily

Personal purges pushed
unusual assets under, and
rather than give in now, we
please others endlessly, until
living true
eludes

about the writer: ciaran boyce

Ciaran writes to reflect the simple things in his world that for years he took for granted. He writes as a way of learning to appreciate the beautiful simplicity of life that mostly goes unnoticed. He draws great inspiration from where he lives in the northwest of Ireland, and loves to help people find deeper meaning in their life and work when they get stuck.

For this submission, ciaran has submitted his first acrostic poem.
