Symphony of Time

You are the rustle of the leaves
Savoring the kiss of mother wind

The splash and the shock of silence
Upon the plunge into
The depths primordial

I hear you in the buzzing of the bees
The cooing of the doves
You are the sweep of the
Shaker broom against the blushing bamboo

Sing to me in the key of
The trees
As you strum the melody of us
And whisper the secrets
Of the era that was
Ours

Stolen hours
Gentle breaths
Beating hearts

What was once
Is now
Is Always
In the symphony
Of time
