submissions for the next issue
We are currently accepting submissions of original writing such as poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, and essays for the upcoming issue of write, bitch, write! The theme is “edge.”
Submissions should respond to this prompt in some way; creative interpretations are very welcome.
We also accept submissions of original artwork to be featured in the issue, as well as serve as cover art, thumbnail images, or illustrations for the written pieces published in the issue. Artists are encouraged to keep the prompt in mind and note that the dominant color for the issue is purple.
Authors and artists of chosen/published submissions will be notified prior to publication and will be asked to submit an optional bio, photo, and commentary to accompany their work. They may also include a link to their website/ social media/ other publications as we deeply value the opportunity to promote up-and-coming creative voices.
The deadline for submissions is may 14.
